Remember what I said in my first post about the learning curve? Yep! It’s a steep one. On the left is an “art shot” of a terminalia (false almond) in the garden.
It probably demonstrates that I’m no great shakes as either a photographer or a computer wiz. (But the leaves really do turn that glorious red! There! Lower left. Are you blind?)
Scratching around in the photo files, I found this old and fuzzy picture of the place we call home. This is taken from the bottom of the drive. From the deck, we have an “ocean glimpse.” Riveting stuff, yes?
Given my (typical beginner’s?) ineptitude when fiddling with this toy, I am learning that blockers are Good Things.Rather like having a bloody great Rottweiler when the nutters come knocking. It doesn’t actually have to eat them, just be able to!
Another Good Thing is the “help” link in the programme(s).
Bad Things are the redirections-from-the-first-help-screen-to-another-screen-then-another-then…well you know how it goes. Honestly! I feel like Hansel and sister, lost in the forest. Of course, like them, I have my own “breadcrumbs” consisting of scribbled instructions before clicking to the next screen. Very time-consuming!
But I plod on, clinging to the daft theory that the more I do, the better I’ll get.
Note to self: advertise for cook/housekeeper
No one reading this can see my personal details, but suppose , by chance, someone from school guessed the writer?Nah! Not gonna happen, Lois, I’ll save the day. He said, popping into a phone box to change into his red-and-blues. With underpants on the outside? And there’s another thing…Superman would be stuffed today. Well, when did you last see a phone box anyone taller than a midget could get into, never mind get undressed. All the public phones around here are merely handsets attached to money boxes. And their slots are jammed with the calling cards of calling girls!Goodness me! How did I get from there to here? I’m not even sure where “there” was. And, no, I have not been quaffing. Maybe that’s the problem?
