HORSES/ CAMELS FOR COURSES?

A couple of years ago, quite independently, Andrea Pratt and I both drew a camel. We had a vague email exchange about unintended similarities and I promised her a lino cut of my camel.

Well, tempis fugit…and she’s still wwaiting!

If you go to her post

about “copying to learn” and follow the comment thread you’ll see that I’ve made a suggestion.

No pressure, but if anyone would like to play (the suggested format is 6″‘x6″ paper), please contact either Andrea or me via comments.

  2. OK…we have a field of two! And I think I can make a start this week, now that I’ve finished the books.
After I’ve dealt with the small matter of laundry/ironing 😉

  3. Got your book and it put a smile on my face! firstly because of similiarities to mine as you suggested but also because of its innocent approach to the poem. The drawings are a delight. Thankyou!.
ps i haven’t looked at andreas blog yet but i’ll have a go at camel? let me know.

    • jane…oh, good! I’ll get a camel post out in a day or so. And I’m pleased the book arrived. And ridiculously chuffed that it made you smile! Thankyou.
