SEEING RED (again!)

GO TO THE VERY BOTTOM, BELOW COMMENTS, AND CLICK THE BIT ABOUT HOWW TWITTER BANNED A COMENT. sorry it’s such a palaver!

Melanie, over here /https://nature-led.org/2022/11/01/october-submissions-leaves/ has some leafy lovelies.

I was too busy to snap the annual leaf-drop of my Terminalia, but I found a picture from a couple of years ago…

They always make me think Enzo Ferrari was choosing his racing colours!

Scoot over and see what else Melanie has…I’ll be otherwise occupied for a while, but I’ll pop in and out, like a fiddler’s elbow…

  1. Oh, these are nice! I hope finding this picture wasn’t too much trouble! Thank you for finding it and the shout out!

Bah! But did you have to mention a Fiddler’s elbow? Now I’ll spend the rest of the night with the Irish Rovers singing “What do you do with a drunken sailor?” in my head! Hahaha

  2. I love red leaves!
There is a distinct lack of colour around these parts – I was expecting a glorious Autumn, but is is yet to materialise.
Melanie has a wonderful selection from around the World – I wish I had contributed something – apologies, I seem to have lost the plot over the past few weeks.

  3. wow, that really is a deep and brilliant red. Colours are changing here finally. With the drought, more trees have been dying rather than changing colour. The combination of warm autumn colours and the light are always glorious at this time of year.
