And in a few hours, that’s what Emirates Airlines will do!
Sadly, I will not be in this class. ;-(
The laptop will come with me ( I have some work to do) and I may even find time to blog! But if this site is quiet for a few weeks you may assume I’m having far too much fun to write the usual nonsense! So just amuse yourselves til I return…
And I’ll see some of you very soon!
I hope not!
I cannot even imagine travel in such a class on a plane. I am happy to get an aisle seat.
Good luck on your trip.
Tim

Yes, Tim, the aisle seat, no fractious children close by and no puddles in the loo is all I ask 😉

No. This is my first trip back in over 30 years! Sadly, my piggy has an advanced case of anorexia, but I plan to glut the little bugger once I’m home so I can have another trip!

I can’t wait to see you!
If you lose your luggage we’ll have a whip round and find you some spare knickers and wellies. You have packed your wellies haven’t you? It’s been raining for weeks despite the hose pipe ban, mud’s thigh high 🙂 xx

HAH! As I type my shoes, jacket, skirt and some shopping are drip-drying in the laundry. Essex/Cambs beats Wilts for wet stuff. (Wednesday)

So far, the water’s been anything but warm. So close to sleet it’s not funny! But so good to be back.

Well that looks amazing, but frankly I wish I could just afford a seat that reclined to a decent angle and had a couple of inches of spare width. How the heck do larger folk manage?
Have a fantastic time Di! Wish our dates overlapped, but it probably makes more sense to meet up a little closer to our respective homes. Hope you’ve packed the woolies – the maximum has been about 12 deg C!

F-f-f-freezing cold the first few days. Wiltshire turned on the blue sky and sunshine and now it’s coming down like stair rods in the SE. But still lovely:-)

Zig is quite correct about the mud… we’re having a very peculiar drought.
Happy travels!

Food? In cattle class? Sadly, even with Emirates the plebs get average airline food. 😦

I’d like to travel on a ship, the way they did in those pre-war movies, with people waving bye, throwing confetti…
